    I love Michelle Hunter's KALs. This KAL was called 14 Carat and the poncho came out nice and is so usable. The pattern name is also 14 Carat.

    I learned to knit using Michelle's book called Building Blocks which is fully supported by free videos. I had never knitted before and always wanted to learn. The yarn used for this KAL was a dream to work with and washes up beautifully. I thought it would be delicate but it is just great for everyday wear. I get a lot of use out of this poncho.

    Note: due to my height 5'2", I only completed 12 of the 14 repeats in the pattern.
