I love Martina Behm's Hitchhiker pattern and completed a shawlette in November last year in Phildar Phil FOLK 100 - Coralline. I received some beautiful Katia Darling in colour 208 and decided that I would start another Hitchhiker to have as my back up 'MeTime' project as I have also begun knitting Jenise Reid's Persian Dreams throw. The Hitchhiker is such a satisfying project: the pattern is easily memorised and the knitting is very portable - relaxing and easy to knit wherever I am! It is the ideal piece to carry with me to 'do a bit' whenever the opportunity arises - or as a 'breather' from the more demanding Persian Dreams project (which I'm loving too!) This time I'm going a bit beyond Martina's 42 teeth - aiming for a bit more length and to make the most of the coziness of this beautiful, soft yarn! I am also totally in love with my new ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular Needle - absolutely the best needle I've ever used! Really loving this 'MeTime' indulgence!
30/1 - done! 54 teeth!
