Bride and groom cake toppers

I made this for my/our wedding in June 2016

    About

    I just had to have something knitty at my wedding so I made a little knitted bride and groom for the top of the wedding cake, which itself was entirely made by my husband Tom. The little woolly people look just like us, sort of! Yes, he is this tall compared with me.

    • Crochet Hook 2.00mm (US 0)
    • Double Point 2.00mm (US 0) 15cm

    Accessories

    • Stuffing
    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : Any DK yarns in colours of your choice are suitable for this project - I also used 1 thin wooden cake dowel each to prop them up and stick them into the cake (had to insert the dowels between the dolls' legs, sorry dolls).

    Measurements

    Notes: Tom is about 12cm/5in tall, Ruth is about 10cm/4in tall.
