Stripey socks with ruffle cuff and afterthought heel

    About

    Just wanted to have a easy sock to knit using self striping yarns. Wanted to add some interest with the cuff so chose top cuff pattern called Ruffle Cuffle from the Socks a la Carte book, knit the body as regular adding the toe and heel last in complementary colours.

        Hi Liz the yarn is Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100 Merino Print 2239 the top cuff is knitted in Patons Fairytale Dreamtine 4 ply - sky blue both yarns were available for purchase on this site. The sock pattern itself is your basic pattern and the cuff pattern can be found int he book first Socks a la Carte book and it is called ruffle duffle. Please note that the toe and afterthought heel were knitted up with yarn scraps i had around
