    About

    This version has slightly different proportions to the original blanket- due to the differing tension for this yarn.
    I like it, but the blanket does not have the “body” and shape of the first tweed version,this is baby yarn- much softer than standard DK.
    I’ll go back to my old favorite for toys - Stylecraft Special DK for the next one.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 25cm

    Measurements

    Size 33cm/13” long x 33cm/13” wide cm

    Notes: The length was slightly less than one made with the recommended yarn but it was not a problem, There was more than enough yarn left over to knit it longer if I had wanted too.

      So cute, love this version too, although Jesse looks a bit scared to be in the sharks mouth ! :)

      Love them!!!
      My niece wants these for her "babies" when she gets round to that sort of thing!!!
      Agree that the original yarn holds the shark shape better.
      Where can I find the pattern for Jesse doll, thanks?

        Hi,great to hear your niece likes these. As Jesse and Josie are best friends you can find the first pattern I wrote for both of them here.

        If you pop Jesse and Josie in the pattern search you can also see their bedtime and hiking sets ( both come with the doll pattern :) )

        I hope you enjoy making Jesse and maybe his best friend too!

        @Claire Fairall Designs:
        Thanks Claire. Have a few things on the go at present but I can see several "wee" projects for some point in the future and looking forward to them.
