    About

Poncho Wrap for a me as I use caliper crutches and find that jumpers make walking difficult. Even I get cold. It was also a project to break my recent cable hodo that I had developed

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Classic Elite Yarn Desert - Jungle Green 20.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 6.50mm (US 10.5) 40cm

    Accessories

    • Cable Needle
    • Buttons
Other : I am adding three wooden toggle buttons to join the upper left arm together to hold the wrap together as a poncho. On the left arm it is open from the elbow so I can use my crutches.

    Measurements

Notes: Each edge has three stitches for a I-cord edge. The cable pattern is a band of 30 stitches. The rest is 180 stitches of stockingette. I did a swatch to check my stitches per inch & rows per inch which caused me to cast on 240 stockingette stitches originally. I hadn't counted on how much stretch would occur with the weight of the garment. Wrippted that out after 10 inches and pulled it back to 180 stitches. I probably soulld have made it 130 or 150 stockingette but I wanted the lenth so I could be warm while using my crutches. Length wise it approx 8 foot pre blocking.
