    About

I had a mohair beret for years, and left it on a bus last winter. I tried to recreate it with not much know-how, and it came up very small like a tiny beanie. I unravelled all the yarn amd started again with a Rowan pattern. It's still a bit small, and I might start over a third time... The stalk in the centre is made with a couple of inches of Rowan big wool I had left over from another project, knotted on the underside.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Rowan Mohair Haze - True 1.2 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 4.50mm (US 7)
    • Double Point 3.25mm (US 3)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: The pattern suggested 3 strands of Rowan Kidsilk Haze together, but I used the mohair and finest as that's what I had. It came up a little small in the headfit, and a little modest in volume for me (55cm head size).
