Sweet Lucy has vivid blue eyes and a charming smile. I wanted to knit her a summer sweater, and when I saw this pattern I knew this was the one. I did make it a little large, the 18 month size, even though she is only 7 months now. I figured she could wear it now, albeit, a little large, but by next summer it would be perfect. The Cascade Avalon in Denim was just the yarn! I happened into the fabric store when they had all buttons 65% off, initially I was going to use white duckies, then I saw the letters and decided on her name instead.
