Crochet Mood Blanket 2015-2016

    You have probably heard of the Mood Blanket by now. Since I didn't start crocheting until March of this year (2015) I didn't find out about this project until May. Even tho I missed the normal start date, I still decided to do this project, my own way - So I changed the rules a little, by starting my mood blanket on my birthday - July 22nd, which is technically the start of my own personal "New Year". From July 2015-July 2016 I will crochet one Granny Square everyday. The color of said square will depend on what my mood is for that specific day. Some of my squares have up to 3 colors, those squares indicate a holiday, such as my first square shows in the photo above, my birthday square included; Bright pink= Happy, Turquoise= Excited & Light Pink= Loved). You can choose whichever colors you want to coincided with your different moods. There are several layouts to choose from as well, I chose 18X20= 360 squares. If you have any questions or want some help, please don't hesitate to ask!

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 4.50mm (US 7)
    Other : Darning needle for sewing in the ends.

    Measurements

    Notes: This blanket will measure 18X20 (18 granny squares wide & 20 granny squares high, equaling 360 squares in total.
