    About

My aunt has used Ann's Go To sock pattern in the past and really liked the socks produced because of their great comfort. Since they are a rib pattern all the way down (K3,P1), they don't have the initial tighter ribbed cuff that many socks do so it doesn't cut into her circulation at all or add pressure to that area of her leg.

Because of that comfort, I thought it would be a great sock for my sons. I Started knitting a pair for Gage with Patons Kroy Socks FX because he needed some nice, warm, winter socks. After finishing the first sock, I realized I actually needed to make a pair for one of my other sons first. So I started a sock in Patons Kroy Sock in Flax for him. But I've changed my mind and decided to finish Gage's socks first. That is why my recent photo update shows two and a half socks, in two colors.

Now I have to finish both projects - not just so that any of my sons actually have two socks that match in color, but they are different sizes as well!

Thanks. I'm really happy with both the color "Cascade Colors" and with the pattern. I am also really liking how the heel has turned out. Good luck with your first pair of socks. Persevere and you may end up a sock addict! I did - lol.
