    About

My husband complains regularly about getting a cold head as he gets older but he hates fancy patterns so I used the pattern for the basic hat but knitted it in 'plain' yarn.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 6.00mm (US 10) 60cm
    • Double Point 6.00mm (US 10) 20cm
    • Circular 5.00mm (US 8) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : No making up required just weaving in ends. I used one of my large pompom makers for this chunky yarn.

    Measurements

    Size: 50cm

Notes: The fit is good and the Pompom is optional. The Boston yarn is chunky and knits up quickly and I like the effect of the camouflage colours - not too fancy and off-putting for the recipient but not his usual plain black.
