    About

I love working with these fuzzy yarns, they are so soft and lush, very child friendly. Soon as I saw this yarn I could see a puppy and knew a puppy needed to be included in my new pattern.

I wanted to pay attention to the shape of the ears on this puppy but was worried I'd lose it with the yarn, but it worked out lovely.

Oh my gosh, he is so adorable (it looks like a boy puppy), oh wow Pat, how amazing are you, the Puppy is so professionally made, you should give lessons on finishing touches - I can't stop knitting your dolls, have just bought another of your doll patterns, the Dolly Dress Up pattern, they're beautiful dolls, thank you 😊

Could you please let me know what fuzzy yarn colours you used for the dog and donkey?

Unfortunately the yarn I used for the donkey is discontinued but a good substitute for both puppy and donkey is Peter Pan Precious 😊

Have you ever thought about creating a pattern of the Winnie the Pooh in Christopher Robin. I would definitely buy the pattern

I'm afraid it would be illegal to do that. He's a licensed character, licensed by Disney no less and they do hunt down and sue anyone who misuses the license and copyright regulations unfortunately :(

Ah Pat thank you for getting back to me so promptly, have just ordered one 100 gm of the driftwood and two of the ecru, looking forward to getting started, i've never knitted a stuffed toy before, I had'nt knitted for over 40 years but recently took it up again, i've since knitted three baby blankets, some booties and wee hats for my Great Nephew due in July. I'm very glad you are on hand if I get stuck with something but i'm sure I wont as your patterns are wonderfully explained, the sun is out so wishing you a lovely day!

Hello Pat, the wendy eider wool you used for the puppy dog, was it wendy eider chunky, wendy eider fur fir soft fluffy nylon polyester wool yarn 100gms, or fur eyelash chunky yarn, sorry to be a nuisance but i'm new to all this and just want to get it right and how many balls of each, many many thanks Jeana

I have downloaded the pattern and love your designs thank you. There are 3 dogs on the pattern. I like the effect of the fuzzy one in cream and brown best. Could you please clarify which yarn this is? I think it's the Katia velour, but above, you say it is the Wendy, which seems much fuzzier and I think that might be what you used in the black and white one. Thanks.

I just check Carole and it's the Wendy Eider. The Katia Velour is very similar but I preferred the brown of the Eider range :)

Hello Bernadette, there is a list of yarns I used on the pattern. The puppy is Eider by Wendy, but Phildar Phil Nounours is very similar :)
