I have been knitting since I was 16 I usually make up my own patterns and sizes I rarely use patterns especially fairisle I enjoy creating the design I am soon to be 56 and I learned to crochet just over a year ago on utube I love it so much blankets/ scarfs/cushions/baby projects and socks for clothing like cardigans I prefer to knit I buy yarn like it's going out of fashion way too much but I'm sure I will get through it during the winter
