I have health problems that affect my joints so whereas, once upon a time, I would have knitted Aran cardigans with lots of twists and turns, now I stick to little items. I love knitting for friends who are having or who have just had babies and my favourite wool is baby 4ply. It is so soft and knits up like a dream. I would love to have the patience and the skill to knit a 2ply or 3ply shawl but it would be too much. I have recently started knitting sets for baby reborn dolls and am going to try and sell them on Ebay or maybe Etsy. We'll see. I love the intricacies of the reborn patterns. I plan to have a go at creating my own too.
If (and it's a big if) I ever have the time, I like to cross stitch as well.
