This shawl was initially designed for the 2017 Miss Babs Knitting Tour and is now available to any and all knitters keen to do a little armchair travel.
la Piuma is knitted in the colours of granite and water meeting sky, as rivers meet the Mediterranean Sea along the Sardinian shoreline. Knitted in one piece from end to end with asymmetrical feathery shapes in garter stitch and short rows on either side of a slipped-stitch spine, la Piuma is a breezy knit that makes languid stops only to pay attention to fine detail.
