Who we are
We are LoveCrafts Collective Ltd. Our contact and other details are set out at the end of this Data Protection and Privacy Policy. We are the data controller in relation to the personal data processed in accordance with this Data Protection and Privacy Policy (except where this Data Protection and Privacy Policy explains otherwise).
In this Data Protection and Privacy Policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refers to LoveCrafts Collective Ltd. and “you” and “your” refers to any individual about whom we collect personal data.
We operate a number of websites as follows:
LoveCrafts (www.lovecrafts.com)
LoveKnitting (www.loveknitting.com)
LoveCrochet (www.lovecrochet.com)
This Data Protection and Privacy Policy covers all of our websites, including LoveCrafts, LoveKnitting and LoveCrochet.
If you are a customer of, or have registered with, LoveKnitting but not LoveCrochet (or vice versa), then for most purposes your personal data will only be used in relation to the website you have purchased from or registered with. So, for example, if you have registered with LoveKnitting, your personal data will not be used for marketing or promoting LoveCrochet unless you request otherwise.
The purposes for which we collect personal data
We collect and process personal data as follows:
If you are a customer of ours or if you have registered to join any of our online communities (such as those on LoveKnitting or LoveCrochet)
We may collect your individual contact information to enable us to communicate with you in relation to the provision of goods or services by us (for example, in order to provide the relevant goods or services) and we may collect other personal information relating to you in the course of providing the goods or services concerned (for example, credit card, bank account or other financial details, and other information relating to you that is included in any communications between us and you in the course of the provision of goods or services).
If you browse any of our websites

We may keep a record of the content on our website that you have clicked on and use that information to target advertising on this website to you that is relevant to your interests and which we have identified based on content you have looked at. This may involve the use of cookies, which is explained in our Cookie Policy.
If you share any of our web pages on social media
If you share any of our web pages on social media, we use a third party service called AddThis to facilitate this, and this involves use of a cookie set by AddThis which collects data relating to your use of our website and other websites that you visit, which is then used to target advertising to you that is relevant to your interests. More information on this is contained in our Cookie Policy.
If we wish to send you advertising, marketing or promotional material
We may collect your individual contact details in order to send you direct marketing material in order to advertise, market or promote our goods and services (this will be subject to your prior consent where appropriate). We may combine this with other information we obtain about the things you are interested in and that are relevant to the services provided by us (for example, when you buy something from us or browse our website and view particular content) in order to help us ensure that marketing material that we send you is relevant to what you are interested in.
If you provide goods or services (or you work for someone who supplies goods or services) to us.
We may collect your individual contact information to enable us or other suppliers of ours to communicate with you in relation to the provision of goods or services by you or the person that you work for (for example, in relation to the management and administration of the provision of the relevant goods or services) and other personal information relating to you to in the course of provision of the goods or services concerned. This may include, for example, bank account or other financial details, and other information relating to you that is included in any communications between us and you or anyone you work with in the course of provision of the goods or services.
If we are assessing your suitability or ability to provide goods or services to us or to any of our group companies

This will be explained to you in more detail at the time we collect the personal data and, where appropriate, will be subject to your prior consent.
If you apply for a position with us
We may collect personal information in relation to you in connection with any application by you for a position with us. In that case, we will explain in more detail at the time how and for what purposes we intend to process the relevant personal information.
