    About

Looking for a straightforward project to restore my knitting buzz after a struggle finishing a Christmas jumper. Finished a blue cowl for me as per pattern, irritated by leftover wool and cowl has to be tucked in as too long. Reduced stitches from 41 to 39, used a full ball of black paintbox simply chunky wool and a perfect sized cowl for my husband. Scaled it down again to 27 stitches and made a perfect mini cowl for my grandson. Three cowls in a few days! Pattern so simple and easy to knit up, I'm now teaching two work colleagues to knit and this will be their first project! One in purple and one in green.
