    About

My son was telling me how his friend loves hand knitted things, but her mum does not knit. Well any excuse to get the needles clicking and the look on her face, made it all worth while. I am going to surprise her with a Christmas cardigan for the baby later.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6)
    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3)

    Accessories

    • Buttons
Other : I got some lovely star buttons to finish this cardigan, they look great. I had round ones on to start with, but these looked more fun.

    Measurements

Notes: I made the first size. I used a small amount of the light green. A small ball of dark green, plus the two listed.

Would this pattern accommodate 6-8 yr old boy?

No I it would be to small, the biggest size is for 3 - 4 year old, so probably 5 years would be the top end. Depends on the size of the little boy as well. You could try Aran weight yarn and bigger needles for the chest size, but you would need to adjust the length as well.

Thank you. I love buttons and I am always looking at different ones for cardigans. My latest winter warm cardigan has ceramic ladybird buttons on it. Really cute.
