    About

I am soon to be a grandmother but my twin daughters who are pregnant live very far away, one in Ohio and one in Alabama. Both babies are due within a week of each other and I was feeling very sad and stressed at not being able to be with both girls after the births. Knitting the sweaters gave me an outlet for this pent up frustration. I have still not discovered how to be in two places and one time, but I have two sweaters that my little grandbabies can enjoy.

Well done Yvonne, I had 2 granddaughters born within 5 weeks, but they were quite local to me, that was 29 years ago, I have a granddaughter of 2, so I am still knitting. Enjoy being a grandma.

I have no doubt you will be with your daughters at the right time for them, whether that's for the baby's birth or after. Congratulations! And I love the buttons you used. :-)
