    About

My grandson who lives in Singapore visited me in New Zealand in January for a summer holiday. As he lives with his parents in an apartment in Singapore I was keen to get him out enjoying our magnificent outdoors. Knowing our weather in NZ can be a lot cooler than Singapore (even in summer) I knitted this vest in cotton as over layer to help him keep an even body temperature while enjoying playing in our garden and going adventuring with his grandparents. I choose cotton as it is light, easy to wash, and becomes ever more snugly and soft with wear.

    Pattern

    Debbie Bliss baby cashmerino vest

    This pattern is from:

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.50mm (US 4) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Buttons
Other : I choose the pale blue denim look cotton. It was a fabulous choice. I can honestly say it went with every outfit he wore. This colour would be perfect for a boy or a girl.

    Measurements

Notes: To fit ages 9-12 months. I did make it about 3 cm longer as my grandson was at the end of this age range
