    About

I managed to source a really cute baby shoe pattern and initially made the pink ones. The pattern had a variety of sizes available. Then I added the flowers to the shoes, just to help make them that little bit more adorable. As I also needed a pair of baby boy shoes, I just adapted the pattern to make the lace up shoes, and they turned out really cute. A slightly paler shade of blue was used to make the laces, as they couldn't really be seen properly when they were made from the same shade blue as the shoes. I'm really pleased with the end result of both pairs of shoes.
The pattern called for double knitting wool and size 3mm/no.11 needles, so I used a very small amount of double knitting wool from my wool stash, and short (25cm) no.11 needles for this pattern .
