Whenever I buy a hank of nice fingering weight yarn for a project that only uses 3/4 of it I get sad and feel like I've wasted the last bit. It's too much to be used for scraps but not enough for any "real" project. So I came up with this as a way to use every bit of the leftovers. Now I'm happy.
