    I always wear boots but have never found long socks that I like. So when I saw these I had to buy the pattern and give them a try.

    Notes: Kept the length but shortened the foot to fit size 5.

    Used 2 strands of Drops Delights held together as did not have any Drops Big Delight but had the thinner version.

      I think my comment wasn't clear. I meant that I love that they are like twins but not very identical. Something you can't buy in the shops.

      And I understand your point that they can be addictive. I finished my first pair last week and cast on another immediately.

        No probs, and I agree fully.

        I have done 2 so far as I had a few items I needed to complete in specific timescales but I can feel another set coming on.

        Thanks they came out better than I thought, the pattern is addictive as well - it's hard not to make more but I have a few WIPs to complete first
