    About

The completed blanket I made for myself and loved it. My mother loved it too and asked for two blankets for her guest room. So now I am making two mint blankets. This pattern is simple yet beautiful. I'm excited to be making it again. I really do love crochet!

    Pattern

    Irish lace afghan

Notes: The apricot blanket is for a queen size bed. I added an extra panel so I had 8 panels across the blanket, to give a bit of hang over the sides. I also added on the first blanket an extra panel across the top as a border to finish it off nicely. I will do the same for the mint ones, which are both for single beds. I also added to the other end of the blanket, row 4 of the panel edging, so I could space my tassels evenly.
