    About

I made the yarn a long time ago, during a de clutter. There was a rip in a cotton bed sheet and I thought I couldn't pack it off to the charity shop and naturally I needed a distraction from the task at hand (I'm known for multitasking) so I set to cutting the sheet into 1 inch thick strips. The bag idea came about later when I realised I'd just added to my stash and needed yet another storage solution to hold it! The bento shape is just one large rectangle folded to make the silhouette (a current theme of my women's designs!) . It's pretty successful, although I'm now considering dip dying it.

Hmm. I am intrigued, because I just tore up a ripped king size sheet into large rags. I had never thought of using it in strips as "yarn", but I would like to. Will you sell your pattern with directions on how to use the sheet? Mine is a gorgeous Magenta.
