    About

Sugar and Spice is such a lovely collection of boleros by Suzie Sparkles with a good range of sizes. I wanted to knit one for each of my grand daughters who live in Hong Kong, so this was a great pattern to enable each to be a little different. I loved the edgings on both boleros. The edging on this "Florence" bolero is knitted in a way I have not done before and it is great! However as I knitted this part with one needle size bigger I think the neck is a little too stretchy so I plan to buy some matching ribbon or binding to hand stitch around the neck edge to make sure it keeps its shape. Certainly a pattern to knit again :)

Beautiful little Boleros, perfect. I liked them so much I have just bought the pattern to knit for my granddaughters.

You will love these! I posted them to Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago and I have already had several photos of the little girls wearing them, so they obviously love them too. I will definitely knit them again for gifts.
