    About

    I experimented with two different patterns - the basic hat pattern by Yankee Knitter and a motif chart from the book Picture Knits by Lori Cosgrove. Both patterns were published in the 1980's. I knitted it in Red Heart Shimmer yarn (sadly discontinued) in shades Pewter and White. This yarn has a pretty subtle sparkle in it which is perfect for festive knits.
