    About

Inspiration came from the beautiful colour range of the Paintbox Yarns, and the pattern reminded me of "Lotsaleggs" toy my daughter had 30 years ago
I'm making mine in Paintbox 100% Cotton DK which comes in 50g balls instead of the recommended Acrylic 100g. I prefer the finished look of the cotton and it still only used 5 balls, one of each colour.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 3.00mm (US 2.5)

    Accessories

    • Stuffing
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : You will need black thread to sew the face, and scraps of felt should you want to do the eyes differently to the simple way I did it

Do I start with a Magic Ring? It doesn't say in the pattern but I'm assuming that's how to start right?

She looks so cute! The cotton does make the toy look lovely, and feels more durable right? Great idea.

Exactly, and you can just pop it into the washing machine and it shouldn't lose its shape. I have quite a bit of yarn left over so was thinking of putting it towards a small buggy rug in the same colour scheme
