    I loved this pattern for candy canes and knitted quite a lot of them, including knitting them while I was on holiday in Greece!!

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    Other : Chenille sticks for the centre of the canes

    Measurements

    Notes: I knitted these in dk wool rather than the aran wool recommended in the pattern. I used 3.25mm needles and made the canes about 12 red and 12 white stripes long. I also knitted them flat and then seamed them enclosing the chenille sticks as I went
