    About

    I have been making several Christmas novelties then saw the Billy Button idea in the free patterns. I made him first with a slight variation to his hat. I then created Santa using the pattern with some changes.
    If you don't want to use them as Bottle huggers they can be left as a standing or sitting toy if you don't join the hands and feet together.

    Measurements

    One size only: 7 inches sitting

    Notes: The original hat for Billy was far too big so an adjustment needs to be made. The original number of stitches was 50 but I used 40. I made it as a hat rather than a rectangle gathered at the top.
