This project started 1 year ago in a small cabin in the middle of Sunshine Coast hinterland, Brisbane.
As I sat with my partner before finding out I was diagnosed with Endometriosis I was focusing on making this blanket. For us to warm us on cool nights. To be in our future home, draped over our lounge.
I felt calm with it draped over myself and focused, as it grew bigger and bigger. People would ask why I would make such a crazy blanket. It was a way for me to speak to others about my condition.
Bring awareness to young women, about the miss guidance on Endometriosis.
Knitting for me has been a way to calm myself and give love to others.
Now finished it is the size of a queen bed! Made from Lions Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick in Charcol. Double bundled!
