@Vix: Yes thought about the Cosmic at the weekend and that is about as far as it got! Made a list of projects that need completing and stuff that need starting and it is worse than I thought that is the trouble with a list!!!!!

@Sarah T: I never make lists not even for shopping. The old chap is the opposite who lists and catalogues everything and anything.

@Vix: Have to say once the list was done I regretted it as it makes all seem like a bigger mountain to climb and I thought crafting should be enjoyable

@Vix: Ah yes a crafting addict indeed! Trouble is I have yarns in my stash that I know I have got for a project and then I have either forgotten what the project is or gone off the idea! Strangely I got an e-mail two more Scheepjes Whirl yarncakes are on the way to me not sure how that happened !!!!

@Vix: Oh yes the list I have advanced on a few projects over the last week or two but not actually got any nearer to finishing anything (thought I had better get started on the Advent Calendars!) and I have even remembered a couple of things not on the list plus the craft fairy sent me the pattern for the Scheepjes shrug just hoping she'll send me the yarn too now :) x

@Vix: Hello Vix still rolling on with the Cosmic. I am doing the slanting clusters but also watched the video to the end yesterday and wanted to ask how you got on with the crab stitch on the last row? Looks at but of a faff and did not really like the look of it as a finishing row your opinion appreciated :) x

@Sarah T: Ah well I love a crab stitch edge so I am biased. I use it alot on hats and blankets. It seems strange at first but you get into the rhythm of it. It is a matter of getting it to lay right but once you get used to working left to right it flows off the hook. Well done you, nearly finished! Have to confess to knitting after that mammoth task!

@Sarah T: It is on the edges of the unicorn hats and bee hats I made also on blankets but you can't see it so well. But no rules do as you like!

@Vix: Good to have your opinion I shall give it a go should really stay true to the end to the pattern. Every row I think I cannot do this but always get it done. Have a great weekend

@Sarah T: The joy is you can interpret the pattern as you like. I put in an extra row to make the border wider. I know what you mean there were a few times especially on the early rows I thought I would never do it. It has been a sharp learning curve but I enjoyed it. I shall do another Karoo is on my list! I wish my colours weren't quite so lairy but it is what it is. We have bought a house in Norfolk STC OMG!

@Vix: You are so right I have the same thing with quilting if I follow a pattern it never seems right as you have to live up to the pattern but if you go your own way nobody knows if how you have done it is right or wrong. I will go for the original edging and see how I go. Payday and got the yarn for the shrug now so that may go higher up the list! New house in Norfolk how exciting, is the point when the old chap finds just how big your yarn stash is!!!!!!

@Sarah T: I am afraid I have been rumbled with that. He built me a brilliant unit to keep it in but I didn't have the heart to tell him about the blanket boxes and bags. Course as my original stash went into storage I have somehow acquired another! I have donated loads to charity and to pals who knit for charity. I am going to try and only buy what I need and try not to buy one in every colour in case. Oh dear there goes another flying pig 🤣
