    About

    This was a bit of a mistake really! I bought a pack of 10 balls of tonal coloured yarn to make matching dad and baby hats! It was only £5 for the pack but the wool is so cheap it just comes unwound and has no stretch in it. It came with a granny square blanket pattern but I didn't like it. So I found the gingham square one and followed the pattern. Not realising that it's in US terms and I was trying to do it in UK terms! Also I have more colours so I've just done it in a random colour pattern. So far I've just got to the point of joining the squares! It's so boring I'm looking up more baby patterns to knit meanwhile!

      Finally finished my first and probably last granny blanket! Tedious to say the least. I like the finished article apart from a few mistakes, such as the colour patterning not going as it should but apart from that I'm happy.
