Double Braided Cowl by CrochetDreamz

    About

    Bethany is a friend from work who was very excited when she saw this braided cowl on the internet and she wanted me to make it for her. After hunting down the picture, I got the pattern from the designer's web site, CrochetDreamz and felt it was a bit to plain for Bethany's colorful personality, so I asked if she wouldn't mind if I added a dash of color and she could pick between a wine or a light aqua - she chose both! After crocheting the braids, I used a yarn needle to "sew" in my "splashes" of color down the strips that make up the braids and then sewed the braids together here and there to keep the cowls shape. The cowl looks awesome on her and it's one of her favorite pieces.
