    Our Mum, who died last year, was a passionate Welsh rugby fan. My sister asked for this coat to be knitted for her dog in the Welsh colours so Sadie will be ready for the start of the Six Nations rugby season. Mum would have been proud!

      I made a dragon slayer in dark and light green for my Jack Russell, Toby. He didn’t like the hood so I made a neck ribbing in the contrasting color instead. Sadie looks great

        Sadie is a real showgirl so anything which makes her the centre of attention is fine by her! Apparently the hood was quite big and she didn't like it coming down over her eyes - perhaps something to be aware of if you fancy knitting it. Happy knitting! Philippa
