Festive Crocheted Rug

I made this for My Husband's Mum for Christmas.

    About

    This pattern was based on the "Willow" crochet block, which can be found on page 106 (block 189) of:
    "200 crochet blocks" by Jan Eaton.
    I improvised a little on this pattern, using Rounds 1-3, from the book and the remaining rounds were "loosely based" on the same pattern. Once the squares were joined, I used a picot stitch (there are many variations of the picot, on "you tube") to complete the project.

      DK (8ply) left overs from my stash. - Dark Green, Cherry, Lime ✕ 6.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 3.50mm (US 4)

    Measurements

    Notes: 1.2m x 1.2m (7 squares x 7 squares), plus edging.
