My apologies. No mistake in pattern. My mistake. I used the stitch markers to mark the repeats and that really kept me on track.

When I complete row 7, I end up with 174 stitches and I should have 175. I have ripped out several times and still end up with 174 stitches. On row 6 I have 175.
Is there an error in this pattern?

Hi Juliet. Thanks for the reply. I have never used a marker as I’ve never had issues with a pattern before (apart from novice mistakes). I have to admit that I haven’t knitted for years, so I am probably making rookie mistakes! When you say mark off your repeat, are you feeding to marking off on the pattern?

No, I mean marking each repeats in the row with a stitch marker on the needle.

Hi. I started this blanket for my grandchild expected next year, but I keep ending up with too many stitches at the end of row 5. Did you have this problem. I have unpicked the whole thing 4 times now. I have recently broken my arm, so knitting is on hold anyhow! 😏

Hi Annemarie, yes I had to really concentrate with this pattern. What really helped me was putting a marker after every pattern repeat, then you can quickly tell where you've gone wrong. I hope this helps
