    About

    Gemma is my first grandchild and I wanted to make her something special to welcome her into our lives. The pattern can be a little tricky around the border and I "winged it" after trying for days to figure out the instructions, but it looks close. I also sewed a soft faux fur material to the back of the blanket so that Gemma had different textures to explore.

      Btw, the blanket looks so soft & pretty, and I love how you used lilac rather than the ubiquitous pink for girls! P.S. I write to CS at LoveCrochet whenever I have questions about yarn or patterns; they're very helpful.
