Gemma's hooded poncho

    About

    This is my first attempt at making a "clothing" item, I've always stuck to scarves, blankets and hats. The pattern I used was by Mon Petit Violon and the hood had teddy bear ears, but while talking with Gemma's mom, I found out that Gemma had allot of hoodies with Teddy bear ears, so I went rogue! The hood came out much larger and druid- like; I added eyelash yarn to it and a pom pom tassel for good measure. It's cute, but Gemma hates anything on her head at the moment - go figure!

    Measurements

    Notes: Followed pattern for two year old and made the poncho longer. I also made the hood longer, and added the faux fur edging and pom pom tassel instead of the teddy bear ears.
