    About

Loved this pattern for a while and finally got around to knitting it. Had to substitute the yarn as the suggested yarn was discontinued. Used Drops baby merino which is lovely to work with and has a really nice springiness to it. Hopefully it will keep its shape well. Love the finished result, the colour and fit of the jumper. This is the first of Agnes’s patterns that I have used, it was really easy to follow and all the sizes are colour coded, the added bonus was having no sewing up, the body is worked in the round, shoulders joined with 3 needle bind off, with the stitches picked up around the armhole for the sleeves which are then worked in the round from the top to the cuff. I have already started my next project with another of Agnes’s designs!

    Pattern

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Drops Baby Merino 4 ply - Light Turquoise Col. 10 8.0 balls

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.75mm (US 5) 100cm
    • Circular 3.75mm (US 5) 80cm
    • Circular 3.25mm (US 3) 100cm

    Measurements

    37½ in

Notes: Took a few tries to get the correct gauge but finally settled on 3.75mm needles (should have been 3.25). The finished size is just as I wanted it. I did change the sleeves, I prefer a tighter fit on the sleeve so made the decreases more frequent so that I ended with less stitches. I used the magic loop method for the sleeves as I don’t get on with dpns.
