    About

    I wanted to make a lovely big shawl for my friend. Something with lots of drape that would be perfect to throw on in the cooler Spring evenings or on the beach when it gets chilly. The project was very addictive - I could hardly put it down and was quite disappointed when it was over! Any 4ply yarn will work for this pattern, so I'm planning my next Great Oak as we speak - maybe in that lovely Baa Ram Ewe Titus yarn that I have in my cupboard!

    Notes: I followed the pattern exactly and my shawl has turned out just right - nice and big without being too much!
