Hi Martha - I'm a new knitter with an ambition to do this sweater.. but I'm stumped on understanding row 1, right after the ribbing. Can you help? I am making the smallest size. "Rib 6 [8:5:7:1:3], (m1, rib 3, m1, rib 2 [2:3:3:4:4] 15 times,
      rib 5 [7:3:5:0:2].
      116 [120:128:132:136:140] sts.
Change to 5mm needles and proceed
as follows:". what does that mean in English???

It means rib 6, m1 (add a stitch), rib 3, m1, rib 2 then repeat the (m1, rib 3, m1, rib2) 15 times. You then end the row with ribbing the last 5 stitches. I hope that helps!

I did find that they do sell just the patterns. They are $9.95 each if you have it emailed. I have ordered one! On the down side, the pattern is only for one size but I'm sure that I can work around that. Here is the link http://www.clanarans.com/knitting-pattern-emailed

Martha...Look up "clansaran.com, and this pattern looks a lot like the "Fleming" pattern. I like this one even better! Yours is handsome!
