Nick remembered this character from the computer game Doom (very old game). He found some images online to print out, and painted a simplified version. This had to then be transferred to graph paper - and several 'test' pieces knitted before the final version was agreed on. A bit tortuous, but he's pleased with the end result, and even wears it to the pub occasionally so that his mates can admire it (and hopefully compliment his mum on her patience and prowess). However he's been told that the next project should only consist of only two colours!!
