The pattern calls for a patterned or self stripping yarns and I was really pleased with the results. Made for my daughters boyfriend they are emigrating to Australia I've already knitted one for her.
they will be travelling in Japan and New Zealand. Used baby wool as it will be close up and personal and will take lots of washing. The scarf knitted on a a short holiday to Gothenburg so has a travel theme. Im on a 3rd one now for my son who isn't going anywhere just at the mo.
