      I love garter stitch garments. The front bands / edgings look so neat, what stitch did you use? I am also wondering what pattern you are using?

        Thankyou Denise ,The pattern I used was a free one I googled will try and find the link.I picked up the front band with a crochet hook ,I found the method on u tube I find it’s the neatest way .I then did a garter stitch but will 3 mm needles .

        @Theresa K: I just googled picking up stitches with a crotchet hook and watched a couple of you tubes, what a great idea! I will definitely be trying that in future, thanks.

        @Denise: the cardi pattern was on https://www.ravelry.com/ it was called Garter Yoke baby cardi.Hope you find it .
