I'm new to colourwork. This is a wonderful piece Tonya. Hope your hubby appreciates it!

Thank you, Marie. He does so much that I suspect he’d rather frame it and put it on the wall instead of wearing it 🙂. Colourwork is really beautiful, I hope you’ll enjoy it.

      Hi Grace,

Thanks for your kind words. Colourwork knits really excites me, and I intend to knit as much as I can this year, time permitting; patience I can deal with 🙂.

This is the swatch for my husband’s vest, and I intend to get to it ASAP. I look forward to seeing your makes too.

Hi Antonia - I am new to the scene here, girl, and I love the Carraig Fada desn - well I would, being Irish! Carraig Fada means Long Rock in Old Irish- the 'long' can be taken to mean high, great, tall, or anything as long as the meaning translates as 'Big'!" And I love it that you have dived right in with stranded colourwork! It is beautiful and worth making into a bigger project, if you have the time and the patience. Keep it up girl !
