    About

    I wanted to design a hat with a lovely chunky cable running round it so it had to be worked on straight needles rather than circular. To get the shaping for the crown, I used short rows which in themselves create a lovely spiral. The cable section is lined with stocking stitch which gives extra protection against the cold.
