It is a easy pattern of 3 k 1 p, every row. I started with casting on 40 stitches. Each row is the same, easy pesy and I think the yarn is Caron's Colorweave or something like that name. It looks good either side and is fairly warm. I hope she likes it when it's finished and it keeps her warm.
