    About

Again I have used the Owl jumper pattern. I had realised when buying that pattern that it could be used as a basic pattern for adaptation. I have omitted the owls and inserted horizontal stripes of reverse stocking stitch. In this pattern, the sleeves are knitted from top to cuff and the stitches picked up along the shoulder edge. I decided that it would be a nice idea to make those initial sleeve rows as reverse stocking stitch too. The stocking stitch stripes are merely 3 rows of reverse stocking stitch, and 5 rows of stocking stitch with the knit row being the right side. I had ordered 10 balls and have 2.5 left over. I am undecided at the moment whether to knit ankle warmers to match or save the yarn to use in a different project. The ankle warmers in the image are the ones I knit for the Bergere jumper with the lace panels.
