    About

    My grand children live in Vermont across from Shelburne Farms they love visiting the farm animals. My oldest son and his expecting wife live in Bellingham WA. They raise chickens. When I saw this book I was in knitting heaven.

    The white chicken was easy to knit and I made another smaller white chicken from the bird pattern. The chickens needed wings so I added them using the the small bird pattern.

    My 3 year old grand daughter loves Hei Hei from Moana movie. I copied the Hei Hei photo and tried to match the colors. Everyone was happy with their chickens.

    Other : I used a little red yarn for the top. And crocheted the feet instead of icord. The Hei Hei chicken I crocheted the feathers with multiple colors.

    Measurements

    Notes: Finished size 11 x 6 large chickens. 8 x 6 small chicken. I really didn't measure the chickens so it's an estimate.
